LA Noire – preview

I mentioned this game in my 100th Subscriber vlog, while I haven’t exactly been the biggest Rockstar Games fan in the past, this game has been catching my eye for a while. Not just for the unique visual style which I know employs some new technology to capture faces in real time and then uses that information to animate characters in a very different way than traditional motion capture.

The PR firm that is working with GameStop for LA Noire sent over some new screen captures. See them after the break.

Bang, Bang, You’re Dead (digitally)

I walk a fine line when it comes to playing games.  Either I’m completely obsessed with them or I’m fine without them.  It’s hard for me to find a middle ground.  I’m hardcore or distant, the word casual doesn’t exist in my gaming vocabulary.

Creative Writing: ala Video Games

This is a cross post from Bitmob.com (a great video game site, that blends traditional writers with community writers) where I entered a contest.  The contest was to write about one of your favorite xbox360 games in one of 7 genres.  I picked Left 4 Dead 2 in the shooters category.  My post was titled: “A tale of life, liberty and an auto pump shotgun or Best Xbox 360 Game – Shooter – Left 4 Dead 2“.  Enjoy.  Click below to read.
