Great post, Andrew! The game is definitely more sleuthing. The chapter I played was when Cole Phelps joins homicide and investigate "The Red Lipstick Murder." You get a briefing from the captain, head to the scene to investigate the body and the surrounding area, get clues, follow those clues by heading to see persons of interests or places of interest, question people, gather more clues, determine when a person is lying, eventually solve the murder, and arrest the murderer (fisticuffs, anyone?). Definitely not like GTA... it's certainly for a more mature player, who is more interested in solving the murder, not necessarily killing everyone.

Wow, can I ever relate to your math POV! Art, English, science, literature, history, economics, those were my passions through grade school & high school. I wasn't *bad* at math--just got bored very quickly with all those numbers. I'm most definitely a picture kind of person. My parents and siblings are math whizzes, though, so I couldn't help feeling a bit...lacking.

Then, not long ago, I discovered that Albert Einstein--an acknowledged genius--wasn't very good at math, either. (Ok, Einstein's level of "not good at math" is far removed from mine, but bear with me here.) The more I read of his work & thoughts, the more I realized--he was a picture person, too! It's his skills for visualization & storytelling that helped him communicate stellar ideas to the rest of the world, including those of us who'd *never* get the math.

Each one of us has a unique contribution to make, thank goodness. To quote another floral phrase, "Bloom where you're planted." And it sounds like you're doing just that! :)

Andrew, thanks for the shout out! It made me remember the time we met at Comic Con and you found out about me and Douglas. We were a secret item at the time and you were the first web-head to know. Ha! That was a million years ago.

Much love to ya!
