new book
Just started this book, (click pic for amazon page). Ever since I first heard that it was coming out, I’ve wanted to pick it up. I first heard of Pete Rollins and his ‘church’ (I use that word loosely) Ikon, back when I was in Nashville for the Emergent Convention back in ’05. I didn’t really get to meet him, but he was sitting in a bar where I was having a drink and someone I was with knew him, but he was already engaged in some conversation so he couldn’t join us.
From what I’ve read so far, (the intro and 1st chapter), I totally echo, what Tony has said here, as this being an integral work for those engaged with or curious about the emergent conversation.
I will hopefully post some more of my thoughts about this as I continue to read.
