Picture Project
If you don’t know for the past few years I have done the “December Picture Project”. It all started because a lot of my friends were really tired of my singular profile picture, which I love by the way, of me peeking out of a trash can.
In efforts to appease the masses that there weren’t a lot of pictures of me, I decided to take a picture of myself for every day of December and post them online. I ended up buying a new camera for the project (a Canon Powershot A720 which is a decent point and shoot for when I got it) and it was a way for me to take pictures, which I really like to do but never seem to have my camera with me. Ultimately I want to get a really nice DSLR like a canon 7D or a nice 5D (I wish).
I started in Dec of 07 and have continued since. Though a few days ago I decided to make it a twice a year occasion. And June being the 6 mo mark away from Dec it seemed fitting. And the “friend(s) of the day will continue as well, which is just to be if I’m hanging out with different people they get to be in my pictures with me.
I’m a few days in already for june.
